Doctors have said Schiavo would probably die within a week or two of the feeding tube being removed, which was done March 18 after a judge sided with her husband's argument that she would not want to be kept alive artificially.
Anyone who has watched a loved one slip away in front of them will know the agony and sorrow that comes with it.
In my opinion, the husbands request is paramount. Keeping a human in such a state is cruel not just to Schiavo, but to the rest of us who have to witness this painfully unfair way of existence.
As humans we deserve or at least we should expect a normal to average comfortable lifestyle.
We have to, at some point, let go of what we cherish the most and it hurts real bad.
Schiavo, her husband and all us need a rest. Life is a bitch and then you die.
